Our Social Gathering is held on the third Thursday of each month at  the VFW, 446 W Lake Street, Addison*.  The doors open at 6:30pm with a short meeting at 7:00 followed by some kind of entertainment or speaker, and refreshments.  There is an entrance fee of $7.00 for members and guests.

 At each meeting there is a drawing of two names for free admission to a future Social Gathering. 

There is a reserved table(s) for newcomers so that you can sit together with others who also don't know many of the members.  You get to know the members most easily by signing up for the various events that are attended by smaller groups of people.

This is a great way to meet people who have gone through the same life-changing event that you have. 

*The VFW is located on Lake Street just east of N Mill Street. There is an entrance off Lake Street just past the Burger King, or you can turn north on N Mill Street and go through the parking lot. It is in front of Caputo's Fresh Market.
